Kotolan - La Tienda De Groove

Posted By MiOd On Tuesday, July 09, 2013 Under
KoTolán is a multicultural based Latin/World music ensemble that embodies the essence of diversity and celebrates heritage, languages and identity. Japanese born vocalist Junko Seki is fluent in Spanish, English and Japanese and sings seamlessly in all three. Band leader Otto Granillo is a storyteller through his songwriting and creative use of orchestration and sets fourth a soul inspired wave of energetic cross-cultural grooves and lyrics. Blending languages, sounds and instruments from around the globe, KoTolán is a fusion of all the wonderful possibilities that can take place as different cultures unite.

Band members include some of Los Angeles’ most talented emerging artists who have played and toured with bands from the likes of Ozomatli, Sinfonica Nacional de Guadalajara, Marc Anthony, Tito Puente and others.
